In production plants the deciding factor is not unit price but **downtime risk**. That makes the plan two-layered: critical and single-source items are held in stock or committed with a written lead time; the non-critical majority is consolidated with one supplier to cut transaction count. Standardising item descriptions removes duplicate stock and wrong-part risk. A factory’s procurement team may need to order bearings, gloves, toner and sugar for the tea station in the same week. These three are the conditions most often missing or out of date in specifications. The **SRA/SRB/SRC codes were withdrawn**; slip resistance is now given by a single **SR** marking. **Ø** is not a slip grade — it marks outsoles exempted from the test (studded or cleated) | EN ISO 20345:2022 (ISO 20345:2021). Certificates issued under the older edition run until they expire, so SRC-marked footwear stays on the market for a while yet; even so, **write SR rather than SRC into a new specification**, or newly certified products fall outside it | | Testing lifting equipment and pressure vessels | Lifting and conveying equipment: **once a year**, tested at **at least 1.25 ×** the declared load. We classify items by downtime impact and lead time, then set a reorder point for each: average consumption during the lead time plus a safety margin sized to how variable that consumption is. Can different categories go on one order? Yes. MRO, PPE, cleaning and office items can share a list and be met with one quote, one shipment and one invoice. Can periodic maintenance materials be planned ahead? Yes, and this is the most efficient way to work. Share the maintenance calendar and items are priced in advance, with long-lead items ordered in time. Do you ship outside Türkiye? Yes. We deliver across all 81 provinces of Türkiye and arrange export shipments abroad. On export orders the delivery term is agreed at quotation stage under Incoterms 2020 — EXW, FCA, CPT or DAP — and the quote states which party arranges and pays for carriage, and where our responsibility ends. Country of origin, HS code and any conformity documents needed for export are settled at the same stage. What does an export quote include, and what does it not? It includes the goods, export packing where required, and carriage up to the point defined by the agreed Incoterm. It does not include destination-country duties, taxes or customs charges — those sit with the buyer. Cargo insurance is not automatic under EXW, FCA, CPT or DAP; if you want it arranged, say so in the request and it appears as a separate line. Turkish VAT is zero-rated on exports once export clearance is completed. Is there a minimum order for an export shipment? There is no fixed minimum, but freight economics set a practical floor: on a low-value single-line order, carriage can exceed the value of the goods. Consolidating several categories into one shipment is usually what makes an export order worth placing — which is the same reason our buyers consolidate domestically.
