Electrical items are defined by numbers, and a quote without those numbers is a guess. Cable needs **type, cross-section in mm² and core count**; protective devices need **rated current, breaking capacity in kA and tripping curve**; residual current devices need the **type letter (AC / A / F / B)**, which is the single most commonly omitted and most consequential field — an AC-type device on a circuit with drives, LED drivers or EV charging can be blinded by DC residual current and fail to trip. Luminaires are compared on **lumens, not watts**: the same wattage can differ by 40% in output. Where the environment matters, state the IP rating, and outdoors or where impact is likely, the IK rating too. **Scope:** We supply **materials** in this category. Yes, the electrical materials we supply comply with the relevant standards; certificates are attached to the quote on request. Can you quote against our BoQ? Yes. Upload your Excel or PDF list with the form or send it by e-mail; we prepare a line-by-line priced quote. Why does the RCD type letter matter? The type letter defines which waveform of residual current the device can detect. Type AC sees only sinusoidal AC. Circuits feeding variable speed drives, UPS units, LED drivers or EV charging can produce DC residual components that blind a Type AC device — the fault current is present and the device does not trip. Those circuits need at least Type A, and in some cases Type F or B. Replacing a device with the wrong type effectively removes the protection. Should luminaires be compared on watts or lumens? On lumens, and on efficacy (lumens per watt). Two 40 W LED panels can differ by 40% in output, and the lower-output one will look cheaper per unit while requiring more fittings to reach the same illuminance. Where the target is a regulated illuminance level, ask for the luminous flux, the beam distribution and, for emergency lighting, the EN 1838 performance data. Can equivalents be used for panel components? For passive items — terminal blocks, trunking, lugs, heat-shrink — equivalents are unproblematic. For the contactor, overload relay and auxiliary contact set, keep the brand consistent: they mechanically interlock and different brands do not fit. RCDs and main switches can be a different brand provided they carry the relevant EN certification and match on current, sensitivity, type and pole count — but in a type-tested assembly (EN 61439) a brand change can invalidate the type test verification. Do you ship outside Türkiye? Yes. We deliver across all 81 provinces of Türkiye and arrange export shipments abroad. On export orders the delivery term is agreed at quotation stage under Incoterms 2020 — EXW, FCA, CPT or DAP — and the quote states which party arranges and pays for carriage, and where our responsibility ends. Country of origin, HS code and any conformity documents needed for export are settled at the same stage. What does an export quote include, and what does it not? It includes the goods, export packing where required, and carriage up to the point defined by the agreed Incoterm. It does not include destination-country duties, taxes or customs charges — those sit with the buyer. Cargo insurance is not automatic under EXW, FCA, CPT or DAP; if you want it arranged, say so in the request and it appears as a separate line. Turkish VAT is zero-rated on exports once export clearance is completed. Is there a minimum order for an export shipment? There is no fixed minimum, but freight economics set a practical floor: on a low-value single-line order, carriage can exceed the value of the goods. Consolidating several categories into one shipment is usually what makes an export order worth placing — which is the same reason our buyers consolidate domestically.
