How is supply planned for a warehouse or logistics centre?
Warehouse consumption scales with the number of shipments, not headcount, and it is markedly seasonal. The right plan is to take last year’s consumption for the same period, scale it by this year’s shipment target, and agree a staged delivery programme: one order, price set on total volume, delivery in batches — so the warehouse floor does not fill up.
In warehouse operations, running out of consumables means dispatch stops: no stretch film, no pallets out; no labels, no scannable cartons. In peak season the risk multiplies.

Four requirements most often misquoted in warehousing
Warehouse purchasing is repetitive and high-volume, so a specification error multiplies by a thousand units. One of the four below is the most widely misquoted OHS figure in Türkiye.

“The manual handling limit in Türkiye is 25 kg” appears constantly in search results, but no such figure exists in the legislation and the Ministry’s own guide rejects it. Write mechanical assistance and risk assessment into your specification, not a kilogram limit.

How do we avoid running out during peak season?
Calculate the requirement 2–3 months before the season and agree a staged delivery plan. Packaging — cartons, tape, stretch film — is the fastest-moving group and the most expensive one to run out of.
How do we measure our packaging consumption?
A one-week count is enough: opening stock, shipments during the week, closing stock. Divide the difference by shipment count and you have consumption per shipment.
Do you supply forklift and handling equipment parts?
Yes — consumables such as filters, batteries and hydraulic oil, plus spare parts. The equipment make, model and serial number are needed to identify the correct part.
Which PPE class applies in a warehouse?
Indoors, EN ISO 20471 Class 2 high-visibility clothing and S1P safety footwear are usually sufficient; in open yards and heavy vehicle traffic Class 3 and S3 are preferred. The final decision follows your own workplace risk assessment.
Do you ship outside Türkiye?
Yes. We deliver across all 81 provinces of Türkiye and arrange export shipments abroad. On export orders the delivery term is agreed at quotation stage under Incoterms 2020 — EXW, FCA, CPT or DAP — and the quote states which party arranges and pays for carriage, and where our responsibility ends. Country of origin, HS code and any conformity documents needed for export are settled at the same stage.
What does an export quote include, and what does it not?
It includes the goods, export packing where required, and carriage up to the point defined by the agreed Incoterm. It does not include destination-country duties, taxes or customs charges — those sit with the buyer. Cargo insurance is not automatic under EXW, FCA, CPT or DAP; if you want it arranged, say so in the request and it appears as a separate line. Turkish VAT is zero-rated on exports once export clearance is completed.
Is there a minimum order for an export shipment?
There is no fixed minimum, but freight economics set a practical floor: on a low-value single-line order, carriage can exceed the value of the goods. Consolidating several categories into one shipment is usually what makes an export order worth placing — which is the same reason our buyers consolidate domestically. Tell us the delivery country and we will say honestly whether the freight makes sense before you spend time on a specification.
