Do office plants improve indoor air quality?
No — not to any measurable degree, and it is worth saying plainly. The frequently cited NASA 1989 study was run in sealed chambers of roughly 0.44–0.88 m³, with one plant per chamber, over 24 hours, at pollutant concentrations the researchers themselves described as far above levels commonly found indoors. A 2020 meta-analysis recalculated the literature and found a median clean air delivery rate of 0.023 m³/hour per potted plant — matching a building’s outdoor-air ventilation would require 10 to 1,000 plants per square metre of floor area. The real benefit of plants in an office is perceived comfort, spatial division and wellbeing. If air quality is the goal, the answer is ventilation and filtration.

A mixed approach is the most common outcome: live plants in visible, well-lit areas and artificial in windowless circulation space.
What buyers forget about planters
Three items are missed more often than any others and each causes a problem later: whether an inner liner is included, whether there is a drainage and overflow tray, and whether the base has castors. Large fibreglass planters cannot be moved by one person once filled, and on new flooring a castor base or felt pad is essential.

Should we buy live or artificial plants?
It comes down to light and maintenance. Live plants suit bright areas where a watering routine can be maintained; artificial suits windowless corridors, lift lobbies and sites where servicing is impractical. Most multi-site organisations end up with a mix.
Do you provide plant maintenance?
In this category we supply materials — plants, planters, soil, irrigation equipment, fertiliser and care products. Ongoing plant maintenance needs to be planned as a separate service with the scope written down: visit frequency, watering and replacement terms.
Which plants survive in an office with little natural light?
Zamioculcas, Sansevieria, Aspidistra, Aglaonema and Pothos tolerate low light well and need infrequent watering, which is the second constraint in an office. Below roughly 500 lux even these struggle, and the honest answer for a windowless corridor is a preserved moss panel or a good artificial specimen rather than a live plant that will need replacing twice a year.
How large should a planter be for a given plant?
As a working rule the planter diameter should be about one third of the plant’s height for floor specimens, and the internal volume should let the nursery pot sit inside with a drainage layer beneath. Tell us the plant height you want and the position, and the planter can be matched — a specimen in an undersized planter is unstable and dries out quickly.
Do you ship outside Türkiye?
Yes. We deliver across all 81 provinces of Türkiye and arrange export shipments abroad. On export orders the delivery term is agreed at quotation stage under Incoterms 2020 — EXW, FCA, CPT or DAP — and the quote states which party arranges and pays for carriage, and where our responsibility ends. Country of origin, HS code and any conformity documents needed for export are settled at the same stage.
What does an export quote include, and what does it not?
It includes the goods, export packing where required, and carriage up to the point defined by the agreed Incoterm. It does not include destination-country duties, taxes or customs charges — those sit with the buyer. Cargo insurance is not automatic under EXW, FCA, CPT or DAP; if you want it arranged, say so in the request and it appears as a separate line. Turkish VAT is zero-rated on exports once export clearance is completed.
Is there a minimum order for an export shipment?
There is no fixed minimum, but freight economics set a practical floor: on a low-value single-line order, carriage can exceed the value of the goods. Consolidating several categories into one shipment is usually what makes an export order worth placing — which is the same reason our buyers consolidate domestically. Tell us the delivery country and we will say honestly whether the freight makes sense before you spend time on a specification.
