Not on its own. Turkish building acoustics regulation places the absorption requirement on ceiling finishes at αw ≥ 0.75; carpet tiles typically measure 0.15–0.25. Carpet does deliver real impact-sound reduction and softens mid-to-high frequency reflections. The correct specification pairs an absorbent ceiling with carpet.

Contract carpet tiles on the market generally achieve Bfl-s1, which sits safely above the Turkish minimum for both ordinary and high-rise buildings. Remember that floor coverings have no s3 class — a certificate showing one is incorrect.

Floor coverings carry a use class under EN ISO 10874: 21–23 for domestic, 31–34 for commercial (34 is not used for textiles) and 41–43 for light industrial areas, the last group for resilient and laminate products only. For a general office we start from class 32, and 33 for corridors and reception; a warehouse aisle with pallet truck traffic needs a product rated in the light-industrial classes. Specifying the class rather than a product name makes quotes comparable and prevents a domestic-grade product being priced against a commercial one.

From the room volume and the reverberation you are trying to reduce, using the panels’ absorption coefficient (α_w) — not from wall area alone. A common starting point for a meeting room is treating 15–25% of the surface area with high-absorption panels, concentrated on the first-reflection surfaces. Ask for the α_w value on every panel line; without it, two panels that look identical can differ by half in performance.

Yes. We deliver across all 81 provinces of Türkiye and arrange export shipments abroad. On export orders the delivery term is agreed at quotation stage under Incoterms 2020 — EXW, FCA, CPT or DAP — and the quote states which party arranges and pays for carriage, and where our responsibility ends. Country of origin, HS code and any conformity documents needed for export are settled at the same stage.

It includes the goods, export packing where required, and carriage up to the point defined by the agreed Incoterm. It does not include destination-country duties, taxes or customs charges — those sit with the buyer. Cargo insurance is not automatic under EXW, FCA, CPT or DAP; if you want it arranged, say so in the request and it appears as a separate line. Turkish VAT is zero-rated on exports once export clearance is completed.

There is no fixed minimum, but freight economics set a practical floor: on a low-value single-line order, carriage can exceed the value of the goods. Consolidating several categories into one shipment is usually what makes an export order worth placing — which is the same reason our buyers consolidate domestically. Tell us the delivery country and we will say honestly whether the freight makes sense before you spend time on a specification.
