How to Budget Office Supplies: Reference Values per Employee
Per-person monthly norms across five spend groups, a four-step method, and the three habits that quietly inflate office budgets.
Learn moreFrom the tea station to meeting catering — put your offices’ food replenishment on a regular delivery schedule.
Request a QuoteCatering is the category where over-ordering is most expensive, because shelf life is short and waste is invisible until stocktaking. Plan on consumption per person per working day rather than on pack counts: a common office planning figure is 2–3 hot drinks and 1.5–2 litres of water per person per day, adjusted for how much of the team is on site. Two specifications make quotes comparable: pack size and unit count (a “box” of coffee is meaningless), and machine compatibility for capsule or bean systems. Unlike most categories, this is one where stocking ahead of a price rise usually loses money — the waste from expiry exceeds the saving.
Scope: We supply materials in this category. We do not provide meal preparation, catering and staffing services. Our commitment ends with delivering the right product, in the right quantity, on the stated date to the delivery point named on the quote — anywhere across Türkiye’s 81 provinces, or abroad under the agreed Incoterm.
Refreshment supplies are a monthly cycle — and the first thing people notice when it slips. With AKSCO you set a replenishment calendar matching your consumption pattern; tea, coffee, water and snacks arrive at your locations on the agreed day each month, on a single invoice.
For offices with high hosting standards we curate the product selection together; for plants and field teams we recommend economical bulk packs. Kitchen consumables (paper cups, napkins, waste bags) are combined into the same delivery.
The items in this category are part of a pool of 28 listed items here, published together with every other category on the A to Z supply list — each with a short technical description and the unit it is ordered in. The same list is downloadable as a brand-free technical specification in Word and a unit-price schedule in Excel. That pool is a starting point rather than a boundary: items outside it are quoted the same way, from their measurable specification.

The full list is on product categories, and Turkish procurement terms you will meet on the paperwork are explained in the glossary.
Yes. We offer machine and dispenser solutions bought outright, or placed on site against a consumables agreement.
Deliveries are planned with fresh stock in quantities matching your consumption; long shelf-life batches are preferred.
A common office planning figure is 2–3 hot drinks and 1.5–2 litres of water per person per working day, so a 50-person office at 22 working days a month consumes roughly 2,200–3,300 servings and 1,650–2,200 litres a month. Adjust for hybrid attendance — if half the team is on site on any given day, halve the figure rather than ordering for headcount.
Generally no. Shelf life is short relative to the size of any likely price movement, and the cost of expired stock exceeds the saving. Ambient, long-dated items such as disposables and bottled water can be bought ahead; coffee, milk products and snacks should not be. The better hedge is a framework agreement that fixes the price and splits delivery across the year.
Yes — coffee machines, water dispensers, kettles, microwaves and refrigerators are within scope, quoted alongside the consumables. Installation and service contracts are not part of our scope. If you already have machines, tell us the make and model so that capsule or filter compatibility is checked before the order rather than after.
Yes. We deliver across all 81 provinces of Türkiye and arrange export shipments abroad. On export orders the delivery term is agreed at quotation stage under Incoterms 2020 — EXW, FCA, CPT or DAP — and the quote states which party arranges and pays for carriage, and where our responsibility ends. Country of origin, HS code and any conformity documents needed for export are settled at the same stage.
It includes the goods, export packing where required, and carriage up to the point defined by the agreed Incoterm. It does not include destination-country duties, taxes or customs charges — those sit with the buyer. Cargo insurance is not automatic under EXW, FCA, CPT or DAP; if you want it arranged, say so in the request and it appears as a separate line. Turkish VAT is zero-rated on exports once export clearance is completed.
There is no fixed minimum, but freight economics set a practical floor: on a low-value single-line order, carriage can exceed the value of the goods. Consolidating several categories into one shipment is usually what makes an export order worth placing — which is the same reason our buyers consolidate domestically. Tell us the delivery country and we will say honestly whether the freight makes sense before you spend time on a specification.
These three questions are the same on every category and industry page. The full answer — Incoterms, the document set and ISPM 15 packing — is in our export shipping guide.
